Ramin's rooms are an invitation. First of all, because they are simply there. In their idiosyncratic perspective, in their mysterious depth, in their unusual color scheme. The stagings draw you into a meditative calm and completely block out the outside world. In this vacuum, the space gradually releases stories. They become more concrete in the carefully arranged interiors. Stairs, doors, wardrobes, photos, tables, people, mirrors and more become actors in a snapshot that asks what has happened up to this point, what is about to happen. And it becomes personal: where do I myself stand, where do I want to go, what do I perceive? The real magic of these arrangements lies in this localization. In their care and precision, they are not only absolutely worth seeing, but on closer inspection and lingering, they also invite you to see yourself. With his rooms, Ramin creates something that has become so rare in today's nervous times: a pause for self-reflection.

Bio

Ramin Parvin is a visual artist and filmmaker from Iran, now living in Berlin. He studied cinema and directing, and began his career by making short films and animations that were shown in international film festivals and received awards.
At the same time, he developed a strong painting and drawing practice. His work has been shown in exhibitions in Iran, Sweden, Austria, France and Germany. Ramin explores quiet, everyday moments small rituals, ordinary objects, and emotional spaces between people. He is interested in how feelings and memories live in these details.
In his films and artworks, he often focuses on intimacy and connection between couples, families, neighbors, or strangers. His stories are simple but emotionally deep. Many of his films feature women as central characters, without stereotypes or clichés, allowing the emotion and story to speak for themselves.
He has taken part in several artist residencies in Germany, Austria, and France, and has also co-curated queer art programs in Berlin, such as OH! QUEER and QUEER IT.
Ramin’s work invites people to slow down, feel more, and notice the beauty and truth in what we often overlook.
